Pennsylvania Issues 2021 Private Passenger Automobile Data Call
On July 15, 2022, the Pennsylvania Insurance Department (PID) issued a notice regarding its annual Private Pass Passenger Automobile Data Call (previously referred to as the ''Act 6 Data Call''). The purpose of this data call is to help the PID monitor the private passenger automobile insurance marketplace in this Commonwealth.
- Companies with Pennsylvania private passenger automobile direct written premium in 2021 are required to complete Parts 1 and 2. Data for more than one insurance company may not be combined into a single submission.
- Insurance Companies with no Pennsylvania private passenger automobile direct written premium in 2020 are required to submit only Part 2.
This information is to be submitted to the PID no later than October 17, 2022. Please note: AAIS will not be submitting this response on behalf of its Members. Consistent with previous data calls, the PID will consider the data submitted as proprietary. Completed data call files should be submitted by e-mail to Dennis Sloand at desloand@pa.gov.
